Health & Safety Policy

Our fundamental priority is the safety of all employees and others who may be affected by the company’s activities, especially the general public.

Our good systems record is the result of our constant attention to safety and our policy of involving and consulting with our employees at every level in an effort to raise awareness of health and safety. We continue to focus the attention of our operative’s on site safety issues.

The Company is served by our safety Manager. We also employ an external training and environmental consultant to examine and assess the training needs for the company and to carry out the necessary training. This work covers all disciplines. The process underlines the Company’s training policy which requires the managers, supervisors and operatives receive regular training.

The Company’s Health and Safety policy and supporting documentation (a copy of which is available on request) is reviewed periodically and revised as new legislation dictates.

Training:
At Flatbase, we pride ourselves with ongoing training for our Management and operatives. We are committed to ensuring that all health and safety legislation is adhered to at all times.

Flatbase has full accreditation from CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) and is an NHBC approved and registered builder.

All Management and Operatives are CSCS/CPCS certified having completed the relevant training schemes.

As standard practice within the company, all Project Managers have attended the SMSTS 5 day course on Safety in Construction, & all Site Supervisors have attended the SSS 2 Day course.
